PASS IT ON NETWORK AFRICA

Championing Positive Ageing Across the Continent

PION Africa embodies the heartbeat of the Pass It On Network, celebrating the inherent worth of every member and the vibrant diversity that defines our continent. Like the resonant beat of African drums, we drive the ageing agenda with passion and purpose, our influence flowing like the meandering Nile, spreading impact across communities far and wide. In resource-constrained environments, African innovation shines, crafting practical solutions that redefine ageing with resilience and creativity.

Our mission is to scale these innovations, amplifying the Pan-African narrative on ageing. PION Africa brings together a dynamic network of advocates, researchers, social entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, academics, and community leaders dedicated to transforming how ageing is experienced and perceived. From pioneering dementia care in Kenya to combating child marriage in Uganda, from fostering intergenerational programs in South Africa to advocating for policy change across nations, our members create lasting impact while building a continental network of positive ageing champions. Together, we honor the values of PION, ensuring every older person can age with dignity, purpose, and joy.
